Kids are amazing and Christoph Neimann (a well known illustrator within the design community and beyond), proves it with his story on The New York Times site titled The Boys and the Subway in the Abstract City section. His sons Arthur and Gustav are somehow obsessed with the subway system in New York City.

Not only have I experienced first-hand how children can be attracted to some of the strangest things by not only curiosity but pure obsession (my son loves to cook for example) in some of the most amazing subjects. So it is no surprise to me that this artistically-enabled man has brought in to the world two boys who love a system such as the subway.

If only all children could be obsesssed with something so interesting, no matter how odd it seems to others.
